During the meeting, business leaders gave suggestions for improving the economy and accelerating business activities, especially in the export sector. The delegation apprised the Prime Minister of the problems facing the business community and made various suggestions in this regard. Imran Khan said that a mechanism has been set up to address the concerns of the business community regarding the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and a committee comprising entrepreneurs is being formed in this regard to discuss issues related to NAB and the business community. It may be recalled that prior to this meeting, the delegation of business leaders had met Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa after which he addressed the closing session of the seminar on "Interplay of Economic and Security" at Army Auditorium in Rawalpindi. 'The economic team of the government was also present on the occasion including Advisor Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh. Addressing the seminar, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that national security is closely related to the economy and prosperity is a function of balancing security needs and economic development.
